There is a new addition to the ZANTHO family!
Our reserve range has been expanded to include Pinot Noir, Merlot and the Cuvée -1487- made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt and Merlot. The new wines all come from the great 2018 vintage and the grapes for our reserve line come, as usual, from the low yields of our best locations. The wines are fermented in steel tanks and then matured in small oak barrels. While the Merlot is stored in mostly new wooden barrels for 12 months, the cuvée enjoys a storage time of 18 months in order to mature optimally. Our Pinot Noir Reserve is finely knitted and is mostly matured in used barrels for a good year.
