It’s shivering in the vineyard. Not too strong. Pleasant -1 ° C to -5 ° C. Our vines don’t mind. They are well prepared. The ZANTHO vineyards are not exactly planted in frost-prone locations. We are more concerned about the late frosts in May.
Winter frosts only become really dangerous for us from -20 ° C. This in turn depends on the grape variety and how frost-resistant it is, how old the vine is, how much perennial wood it has and of course on the quality of the wood’s maturity. At the current temperatures we are simply looking forward to the natural spectacle in the vineyard.
