Mission accomplished! We finished this year’s harvest last Sunday with a great Trockenbeerenauslese from Scheurebe and are overjoyed – the year 2020 hit us all a little unexpectedly – but the solidarity at ZANTHO has allowed us to successfully master all challenges together.
The white wines show themselves with exuberant fruit and freshness, balanced with medium alcohol values and are already a lot of pleasure. Especially the “tasty” grape varieties such as nutmeg and Sauvignon Blanc are outstanding this year. The first red wines are fruity, spicy and very elegant and give hope for a very good year. The wines now have the time they need to harmonize and mature over the winter. In summary, we are very pleasantly surprised, extremely satisfied and look forward to a positive finale of this “challenging” year!
