Deep purple characterises our ZANTHO Merlot Reserve Magnum.
The wine convinces with multi-layered impressions of red berries and mineral hints. On the palate the wines shows again deep fruit and spices, very balanced. Our Merlot Reserve appears vivid on the palate and ends, supported by fine acidity, in a long and smooth finish. Very good ageing potential before all in the Magnum bottle.
Merlot is originally deriving from France and finds a perfect terroir in and around Andau. 2019 was one of the best vintages ever in Andau and brought excellent results for this grape variety.
