The Wine with Velvet Label – exclusive, tasteful and stylish – the complete Reserve line from Zantho is adorned with our new velvet labels – not just a real eye-catcher
The Zantho wines have stood out from the beginning with their modern labels. The wine with the lizard quickly became memorable. The different color codes made it even easier to distinguish the wines from one another. Particularly abroad, where German grape variety names are not easy to pronounce, this type of packaging was well received. The larger the range became, the more important it became for customers to have the ability to distinguish Zantho products from one another more easily.
The first wine with velvet label was released from the 2017 vintage. A special label was to be designed for our new Cuvée 1487 Reserve. Our Sankt Laurent and Zweigelt Reserves already stood out from the classic red wine line, but the difference was only minimal. With the velvet label, we have created an exclusive and premium label that adorns our complete Reserve line. The different color codes make it easy to distinguish between the Reserves. Our Reserves: Grüner Veltliner Reserve, Zweigelt Reserve, Sankt Laurent Reserve, Pinot Noir Reserve, Merlot Reserve and Cuvée 1487 Reserve.
Modern, tasteful and innovative
The Wine with Velvet Label
Premium wines are the perfect accompaniment to meals! They show character, are more complex and often fuller-bodied than their young, fresh, fruity counterparts. Our Reserves pair excellently with hearty meat dishes. With the Cuvée 1487, we primarily recommend game and lamb dishes. Our delicate Pinot Noir, on the other hand, harmonizes perfectly with mushroom dishes or poultry. We like to serve our robust Merlot with beef steak and potato wedges. The spicy Zweigelt is delighted to accompany a hearty cheese platter. Further information about our premium wines can be found under the Wines in Detail section.
Our region, beautiful Burgenland, is known for its excellent wines. The warm sun, the dryness and the strong wind provide ideal conditions for producing premium red wines. The diverse soil types of the Seewinkel allow us to plant different grape varieties that feel most comfortable exactly there. The Pannonian climate ensures that our grapes always ripen perfectly and remain healthy. Without much risk, we can achieve top quality every year. Our Reserves simply bring us joy. That is the reason why we are constantly expanding our range of premium wines.
