A large part of energy is generated by wind power in Seewinkel. The wind turbines have already become trademarks in our vineyards. Therefore, the energy generation is more and more dependent on the weather. There is an excess on windy days and a shortage on calm days.
As a mobile energy storage device, the electric car helps to temporarily store this locally produced energy in the vehicle battery – so the power grid can be stabilized if necessary – it drives the energy transition. To do this, we need more charging stations – especially in a region with a high proportion of renewable energy.
