ZANTHO Zweigelt 2022

is characterised by an incredibly deep ruby red. In the nose the wine shows deep a fruit which remembers of berries and cherries together with fine spices. On the palate  our Zweigelt 2022 convinces with incredibly deep fruit together with fine spiciness. The medium-bodied wine is supported by fine acidity and ends in a long and elegant finish.

Zweigelt is not an indigenous Austrian grape variety but a crossing of famous Blaufränkisch x Sankt Laurent done by viticultural professor Dr. Zweigelt in the early 1920s. The variety became the most planted and prominent red grape variety in Austria and its neighboring countries.
